The iPhone 4’s most common accessory should be its case by large and far, but that does not mean a little bit of creativity cannot help make the iPhone 4 even better – or perhaps stand out from the rest of the crowd. With Kickstarter being the hotbed of creativity for new ideas, here is one that might just appeal to the masses – the Red Pop shutter button for the iPhone 4.

At the moment, the iPhone 4’s 5-megapixel camera sensor is no pushover (for a smartphone device), where it is also capable of recording High Definition video at 720p resolution. This has made it the second most popular camera used for Flickr images, but that does not mean the touchscreen shutter button is the bomb. No sir, enter a physical shutter button in bright red to make a statement that cannot be denied.

Brendan Dawes’ design of the Red Pop is the perfect solution for iPhone 4 photographers who want additional control when they shoot, with less blurry images to boot. It ought to be out soon if the $20,000 pledge is met, and there are 28 more days to hit that target after receiving $8,160 (as at press time) from an interested public.
