Windows 8 Log on
In today’s world where quite a number of us deal with having to use multiple computers for work – it’s quite troublesome to have to set up your computer to make it work the way you want it to work each time you use a computer other than your personal one. Well, it looks like that won’t be an issue anymore in the future. Microsoft has revealed that with Windows 8, users will be able to sign into the computer with their Windows Live ID, which will then set up the PC according to their previously set preferences.

In addition to having your settings saved, your Metro style apps settings and last-used state persist across all your Windows 8 PCs. So for example, if you’ve been working on a document with your tablet while on the bus or train home, you can just go home, log into your desktop computer with the same Windows Live ID and pick up right where you left off – there’s no hassle of manually connecting cables or transferring files yourself. It would work the same way if you were playing a game or watching a movie – talk about convenient!

While this makes your Windows Live ID a whole lot more important, it does make life much easier when you compute using multiple Windows 8 devices. Find out more or watch the demonstration video:
