Notice anything particular about the watch above? If you said the missing number “12”, you’d be right. In fact, in place of the “12” lies a camera, which means that if you enjoy taking photos discretely or would love to know what playing a spy feels like, Thanko’s Slim 720p DVR watch could be just what you need.

As the name implies, this watch can apparently capture video footages in 720p HD video quality, which is rather amazing given the size of the camera, and the fact that this watch seems more like a novelty rather than one of practicality. It can also take still photographs with a maximum resolution of 1600×1200.

On top of the camera features, the watch will also come with 4GB of built-in memory which you can also use to store songs to listen to, thanks to a 3.5mm audio jack where you can plug your headphones into. The watch is available from Thanko’s website for ¥7,980 ($104) although we’re not sure if they will ship outside of Japan.
