Samsung Galaxy NexusWe don’t have an release date for the Samsung Galaxy Nexus in the US yet, but it looks like we’re one step closer to seeing it on sale because Verizon has officially put a price tag on the phone. The folks over at smartkeitai.com spotted a Verizon advert featuring the Galaxy Nexus on Reddit, which showed the price of the device. No word on whether it’s just going to be for the holidays, but it looks like we’ll be able to pick up the Samsung Galaxy Nexus for $199.99 with a 2-year contract on Big Red.

Judging by the holiday decoration on the advert, we’re hoping that this means the phone will arrive in time for the holidays. After all, what could be a better Christmas present than the first Ice Cream Sandwich device? December 8th still seems the most likely date for the phone, which is in a couple of weeks. Stay tuned and we’ll keep you posted.
