With the release of Apple’s new iPad coupled with its Retina display, would-be iPad owners can rest assured that much like the Retina display of the iPhone 4, many developers would be rushing to update their apps in order to take full advantage of the 2048×1536 resolution. Games publisher EA has stepped forward and revealed that they will be doing just that and are currently working on updating some of their best selling apps to take advantage of the new iPad’s Retina display. In a statement Nick Earl, EA’s SVP of Global Mobile and Social Studios gave to Macworld, the games that will be receiving the graphics update will be Mass Effect Infiltrator and Real Racing 2, although we’re guessing that more of EA’s games will be updated over time with support for the Retina display. So, which games are you most looking forward to playing on the new iPad?
