Skype logoGreat news for Skype users on Mac computers – Skype has announced the release of a new update for its VoIP client. The update brings Skype up to version 5.6 and introduces a bunch of new features such as: automatic updates (you no longer have to manually update Skype), improved UI for group video calling (you now have dynamic and non-dynamic mode – dynamic mode automatically moves the portrait of whoever’s speaking to the top of the screen), a new full screen mode in OS X Lion, the ability to delete conversations and the ability to disable Audio Gain Control.

In addition to the new features, some issues with conversations, calling and contacts have also been fixed. Head over to the Skype website to download the latest version of Skype now, or hit the source link to find out more about the update.
