HTC logoIt was just yesterday that we reported as part of HTC and Apple’s legal battle, the judge presiding over the case ruled in Apple’s favor and did not allow HTC to use their patents “borrowed” from Google as part of the lawsuit. This is not the first loss that HTC has experienced when going up again Apple, and earlier this year in February the company suffered a huge blow when its first ITC complaint again Apple was dismissed and it looks like the company could finally be calling it quits on this particular issue. When the judge dismissed HTC’s complaint, the company had an opportunity to appeal that decision but it turns out that HTC will not be doing so and has since filed for a motion to dismiss it. While this closes the door on one lawsuit, it should be noted that HTC still has other cases open against Apple so we guess we still have some legal drama left that has yet to unfold. So if you’re wondering what’s going to happen next in the whole HTC versus Apple story, be sure to check back with us regularly for more updates!
