Samsung Galaxy Note Receiving Android Jelly Bean As Early As March 1

Samsung Galaxy Note users have been waiting for the moment when their favorite device will receive Android Jelly Bean. It was confirmed in December the Galaxy Note would be receiving Jelly Bean, but when is the question all Galaxy Note users have been asking since then.

According to a leak on the Samsung Ukraine website, its Galaxy Note is expected to start receiving Android Jelly Bean starting on March 1. That doesn’t necessarily mean you should be checking your Galaxy Note every minute to see if Jelly Bean is available as the chart leaked onto the Samsung Ukraine website may not be offering the exact date when Jelly Bean will be available in the U.S.

Android Jelly Bean releases for additional Samsung Galaxy devices are also mentioned in the leak as Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus owners can expect Jelly Bean to begin rolling out on February 22, while Galaxy Tab 8.9 owners could see Jelly Bean as early as January 24.

Galaxy Note: The Samsung Galaxy Note was introduced by Samsung during IFA 2011 in Berlin. It was the first smartphone to break the 5" display size barrier with an 5.3" 720p Super-AMOLED display. The international (non-US) version was powered by a Samsung Samsung Exynos 4210, while the U.S version used a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8255T. In terms of storage, the Galaxy Note came with 16GB or 32GB of internal flash memory, which could be supplemented with a microSD card. The battery has a capacity of 2500mAh, which was nice at the time, but has been surpassed since by the Galaxy Note 2, which has a 3100mAh battery. Jelly Bean (Android): is also known as Android 4.1. It improves upon 4.0 in a few ways: 1/ "butter smooth" user interface, thanks to many changes on how graphics operations are timed and synchronized. 2/ automatic widget re-sizing so that users can max out their screen space. 3/ Voice typing goes offline, which is great because the previous version only worked if the data connection was good. 4/ Better camera app that makes reviewing and curating photos easier. 5/ Google Now is a personal assistant which competes with Apple's Siri.
