It was at the end of last month when we brought you word that Rovio will be rolling out Angry Birds Toons, which is yet another potential cash cow for the Finnish company who seems to be intent on making the most out of their hit gaming franchise. Well, Rovio has even more good news for the masses this time around, as they have announced that they will be delivering their weekly Angry Birds Toons animated series to folks worldwide, without it being confined to a particular country only.

This will also be an industry first as it will see a launch via a video distribution channel across all of its Angry Birds game titles on smartphones and tablets. This coming weekend, Angry Birds fans are able to view the most recent adventures of our feathered and porcine friends thanks to a dedicated channel that is available in Rovio games, in addition to select video-on-demand channel providers, Smart TVs and other kinds of connected devices. Of course, select TV networks worldwide too, will air the Angry Birds Toons series. [Press Release]
