samsung-galaxy-s4-review-034Back in May it was reported that Samsung had hopes to ship about 10 million units by the end of the month, and now that we’re in July, it looks like Samsung has managed to do that. According to the reports, word on the street has it that Samsung has since managed to sell 20 million Galaxy S4 units through global channels. This is not an official claim although apparently Samsung’s own CEO has confirmed this to reporters, so we expect that Samsung will be releasing a press release soon. It should be noted that units shipped and units sold are very different things. Units that are shipped might be due to interest but might not necessarily sell, versus units sold which are units that have actually made its way into the hands on consumers. Either way 20 million units sold globally is a pretty impressive figure and one that we expect will continue to grow in the coming months all the way until next year where we expect its successor will be announced.
