galaxy roundRemember the Samsung Galaxy Round that was launched not too long ago? Well if you’re in the market for a unique looking handset, you might be interested to learn that the Samsung Galaxy Round will be making its way into the US after all. The handset was originally released in South Korea, home of Samsung, and there was no mention if it would make its way stateside. Given the prototype nature of the device, it is understandable that Samsung might merely be looking to test the waters as opposed to performing a full scale launch. It looks like a full scale launch will not be happening yet as the handset will be sold through Negri Electronics, a third-party retailer who has managed to get their hands on the device.

As the Galaxy Round was meant to be a limited production device, don’t expect more stock if and when they stock out, but for those who are interested in owning the rather uniquely curved device, pre-orders for the handset have begun and will set you back a whopping $1,129.50. That is a very expensive price tag that Negri Electronics is asking for, but it seems to be in line with what an Australian retailer is asking as well, so we guess that would be the market price for the device, and the price one would have to pay to be an early adopter. So, anyone planning on pre-ordering their Samsung Galaxy Round?
