iphone_6_curved1-800x884Remember the other day we reported that thanks to a new rumor, Apple’s next-gen iPhone could feature rounded corners and could incorporate a curved display? It sounded like a bit of a stretch since it is a pretty radical design, especially since the leaked schematics suggested a more iPad Air-like design.

Well just in case you were wondering how an iPhone with rounded edges and a curved display might look like, French website Nowhereelse.fr and Martin Hajek have teamed up and cooked up a concept as to what the device might look like, at least based on the information about the next-gen iPhone that we know so far.

As you can see in the concept image above, basically what this design entails is that instead of the sharp edges on the side of the iPhone, it will now sport a display that sort of curves around the edges, thus making it look more smooth and fluid. As for the rest of the phone, it looks like the iPad Air and features a more curvy design which we have to say we are really digging.

We’re not sure if there is any purpose to the curved edges since it would be purely aesthetic, especially since it looks like it might be too small to incorporate any action buttons. Perhaps it could incorporate gestures by the side that allows the user to perform certain tasks, who knows, but what do you guys think? Do you like what you see so far, or do you prefer the more traditional design?
