Gamers are probably eager to get their hands on the next Halo title, which at the moment has been tentatively known as Halo 5. Not much is known about the game for now, but Microsoft is expected to share more Halo-related news at E3 2014 which is taking place next month. However in the meantime, an industry insider has revealed that the upcoming Halo title will be a very ambitious game.
This is according to a recent tweet by industry insider, Ashan Rasheed, who revealed that the game will be based on an open world concept. Given how popular open world titles such as Grand Theft Auto 5 are, and the upcoming Watch Dogs game by Ubisoft, we can certainly understand the appeal.
In fact by introducing an open world concept, it would definitely shake things up in the much beloved franchise, although we’re not sure if it might be for better or for worse. In the meantime according to a recent leak, Microsoft will be making a lot of announcements at E3 and that Halo 5 will be one of them.
