irememberAs one gets older and older, our health would generally deteriorate as well, which would then require a certain level of medical care and expenses to boot. Such medical expenses can end up with a very high cost if the illness happens to be serious and requires specialized treatment, not to mention having plenty of pills and tablets to gulp down afterwards. Keeping track of them can be quite a challenge, which was why the iRemember, touted to be the world’s first smart pill organizer, has been revealed as a crowdfunding project.

This is not a particularly new idea as we have seen the likes of an Audio/Visual Alerting Pillbox in the past, but the iRemember would turn things up by a few notches as it is capable of sending out notifications to your smartphone whenever you or your family member forget to take his or her pills, now how about that?

In addition, this simple albeit smart device will also remind you of when to take the next pill, and all notifications can be provided directly to the cap, or be sent straight to a compatible mobile device as mentioned earlier. Since the older generation might be technologically averse, the iRemember will arrive in a simple to understand form factor, and is naturally intuitive to use, taking less than a minute to set it up.
