Does your cat need entertainment? Why not? You can check out the sheer number of toys that are available in pet stores for both felines and canines alike, but most of the time, those happen to be old school toys that do not really have plenty of technology infused within. With this Kickstarter project that is known as Mousr, your cat will most probably find a new way of being entertained. This is a smart robot for cats, where it will make use of the power of technology in order to keep your cat entertained whenever you are not around.
What makes the Mousr stand out from the rest of the battery-operated toys that one will be able to find in a pet store? Well, the Mousr is smart enough to detect your cat’s approach regardless of its direction (sort of like a Spider sense, except in a robot), and it will react to the fact that it has been locked on by the resident Garfield and will make an attempt to escape. In order to up the stakes, it has a built-in speaker that would introduce an audio element to the chase. Eventually, the Petronics team that is working on the Mousr intends to come up with a full fledged AI system in order for it to learn as well as make modifications so that it can adapt to your cat’s style of play.
