masterdynamicheadphonesNow that Apple owns Beats, it is understandable if the company decides that they’d rather do away with the competition and just offer Beats’ audio products in their stores. After all Beats sells headphones, earphones, and Bluetooth speakers, which is pretty much the range of audio products Apple already offers to begin with.

However thankfully for customers Apple isn’t heading that direction. In fact recently Apple has added the “anti-Beats” headphones to their store in the form of Master & Dynamic. The “anit-Beats” term was coined by Forbes in an article back in July where they described Master & Dynamic’s headphones as being the opposite of Beats.

Instead of loud and flashy design, the company has opted for a more classic style that not only looks good, but will sound good and will appeal to audiophiles who want a combination of both, which is rare especially when you consider that most audiophile grade headphones don’t exactly look very street-friendly.

The Master & Dynamic headphones offered via the Apple Online store includes the MH30 on-ear headphones (meaning that the headphones rest on your ear) priced at $350, and the MH40 over-ear (meaning it cups your ears instead of resting on them) headphones priced at $400. So far reviews have been largely positive and if you’re curious, you can always head on over to an Apple store to try it for yourself.
