gopro-hero-plusUnlike photo editing which more or less deals with a static image, video editing can feel a bit more daunting. It might even put off amateur videographers who feel that they will never get the hang of video editing software in order to create decent footage. However if you’re a GoPro user, a simple solution could be on its way.

The company recently revealed that they were working on a mobile app for video editing on the go. This was confirmed by the company’s president Tony Bates who claims that the app is currently in the final phase of testing, and assuming that nothing goes wrong, they are aiming to have it released by the end of the summer.

This will undoubtedly save users a lot of time and stress from having to fiddle with video editing software, some of which can be a bit clunky. It will also enable faster sharing since once the video’s been edited, users will be able to upload them onto social networks directly from their mobile phones and share them.

It is unclear as to what kind of features or editing tools GoPro’s mobile solution will have, or if it will be user-friendly, or whether it will be a powerful editing tool or just a simple one. In any case if you’re planning on getting a GoPro or already have one, this app could be worth looking forward to.
