We have been hearing about the GoPro Hero9 Black for a while now, and for those who would love to get their hands on an action camera, you’ll be pleased to learn that GoPro has since officially taken the wraps off the Hero9 Black. This is the latest camera that’s part of GoPro’s Hero series.

It appears that some of the rumored specs about the camera were right on the money. One of which is how the camera will actually be capable of shooting high-resolution videos where instead of 4K, which is the standard we’re seeing these days, the Hero9 Black will be capable of shooting in 5K.

However, the videos will be capped at 30 fps, which is actually more than enough, but for those who prefer faster frame rates, you’d be out of luck. The camera’s sensor has also been upgraded to 20MP versus the 12MP sensor on the Hero8. There is also a color front-facing display that can show users live shot previews, making it ideal for vloggers.

GoPro is also boasting that the Hero9 Black will offer 30% more battery life with improved cold weather performance, new HyperSmooth 3.0 horizon leveling, and will also be compatible with a variety of mods that offers additional stability, wide-angle lenses, and more. The GoPro Hero9 Black will be priced at $449.99 and is available for purchase via GoPro’s website.
