Sony will be at MWC 2016, which we guess shouldn’t really be that much of a surprise. However what will Sony announce? While we would normally assume a new flagship, the rumors claim that the device will be skipping the event, but fret not because Sony apparently has other devices that they plan on showing.
According to a recent tweet by @OnLeaks, a rendering of the alleged Sony Xperia C6 has been revealed. However we should point out that these aren’t the official renders, instead they are renders that are based on factory schematics, so what you see here might be very different from the actual product, but for the most part if they are indeed based on the schematics, they should be similar.
Unfortunately specs of the Xperia C6 remain a mystery, but given its successors, it will be a low-mid range handset at best. It has been rumored to sport a possible 5-inch display, and under the hood a MediaTek Helo P10 chipset can be found. Also based on the render, it seems that we can expect at least 3 different color variants.
In any case take it with a grain of salt for now, but with MWC kicking off next month, we should know the official details soon (hopefully).
