iPhone-7-dummy-2According to a sketch leaked earlier today, it hinted that the iPhone 7 might not be so different from its predecessor. The sketch showed a familiar design and dimensions that are also more or less similar to the iPhone 6s. Now thanks to a newly leaked photo, it appears that the previous rumors have been corroborated.

As you can see in the photo to the right, it shows off what is supposed to a dummy unit of the upcoming iPhone 7. On the first glance, it doesn’t look like Apple has done much to change its design, save for removing the antenna bands across the back of the phone. This is also in line with rumors that we had heard earlier about the rumored antenna redesign.

Apart from that, it seems that there aren’t many differences in its design compared to the iPhone 6s. Interestingly enough this photo also goes against another rumor we heard several days ago, which is that the iPhone 7 will not come with a Smart Connector, but as you can see in the photo, this unit shows that it does.

That being said, given that they are all rumors, they’re best taken with a grain of salt for now. There’s no telling if either rumor is the real deal, or if the photo is a fake. However we are getting closer to the iPhone 7’s announcement which is rumored for later this year, and with no other claims disproving the current speculation, it’s starting to feel that this could be the iPhone 7 after all.
