oneplus_3_4In a couple of days, OnePlus is expected to take the wraps off the OnePlus 3T. The phone is supposed to be a refresh of the OnePlus 3 that was launched earlier this year, so that kind of begs the question of what will the OnePlus 4 pack under the hood that will make it more compelling?

According to the latest rumors, one of those features would be a dual camera setup. Dual cameras seem to be the rage these days, with Apple hopping on board with the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus, and with Samsung rumored to offer a similar setup with the Galaxy S8 next year. The report goes on to add that the OnePlus 4 could feature a glass body, and a 5.3-inch QHD display.

An earlier rumor had also suggested that we will be looking at a Qualcomm Snapdragon 830 chipset, but that shouldn’t be surprising since the Snapdragon 830 will most likely find its way into high-end flagship phones of 2017. There are also rumors that the phone will pack 8GB of RAM, although apparently this will already be a feature in the OnePlus 3T.

We’re not sure if anyone really needs that much RAM (or processor cores for that matter), but we guess it will still be a selling point of the phone.
