Have you ever eaten something and felt really bloated afterwards? Unfortunately because the things we eat are usually a combination of many ingredients, sometimes it can be hard to pinpoint exactly what it is that made us feel that way. You could always visit a doctor to have them test you, but the process is said to be long and expensive.

However the folks at FoodMarble have since created a device called the AIRE in which you will be able to test out yourself from the comfort of your own home and at your leisure. The AIRE is basically a tiny device that you blow into. First users will have to ingest a drink that contains a substance like lactose or fructose, after which they’ll have to blow into the AIRE every 15 minutes for about 90 minutes to 3 hours.

The different substances are meant to be tested on different days so that you’ll have an idea of which substance it is that is making you feel bloated due to the excess hydrogen in your body. However this by no means replaces a trip to the doctor/gastroenterologist as there could be other reasons why you’re bloated, like a bacterial infection, but it’s a good way to try and understand your body that’s cheaper and more convenient.

The AIRE is currently priced at $99 as a special pre-order price where it is expected to be released in August 2017 and where it will retail for $149. For more information or to place an order, hit up its website for the details.
