mega-man-ios-androidIf you grew up playing classics like Capcom’s Mega Man franchise, you’ll be pleased to learn that come early January 2017, Capcom has announced that they will be releasing Mega Man 1-6 on mobile for both iOS and Android devices. Each game will be priced at $2 so if you want to relive some classics, here’s one way to do it.

According to Capcom’s announcement on their blog, “The Blue Bomber’s original adventures are finally making their way to iOS and Android.  These lovingly-crafted adaptations will remind long-time fans and introduce newcomers to what made the Mega Man such a popular and iconic character.”

This might sound familiar because back in 2015, Capcom released the Mega Man Legacy Collection for the PS4, which basically contains Mega Man 1-6 and with some added bonuses. However a report from Eurogamer claims that Capcom has clarified that the version for mobile is not the Legacy Collection. It will contain the same games but it won’t be bundled the same way, so it seems unlikely that the added bonuses will not be coming onto mobile as well.

In any case for those who are interested to be notified of its release, you can head on over to Capcom’s website and pre-register your interest and you will be informed when the games have been made available.
