#IFA2017 – While there are wireless headphones and in-ear headphones, what seems to be popular these days are wireless earbuds, which are tiny earpieces that sit in your ear that are also completely wireless. There are quite a few brands out there, like Apple’s AirPods and also the recently announced JBL Free.

Tossing their hat into the ring is Bang & Olufsen who have recently taken the wraps off their latest audio offerings in the form of the Beoplay E8. Right off the bat it is pretty obvious that the company is sticking to its design roots as the Beoplay E8 looks every bit as sleek as the company’s other audio products.

The earbuds themselves feature a 5.7mm electro-dynamic speaker with a 16 Ohm impedance and a 20-20,000Hz frequency range. There is an accompanying app that lets users adjust the sound profile, and the earbuds will also come with touch controls that allow users to use voice commands or to activate transparency mode which basically lets in ambient sound.

The Beoplay E8 will offer users up to 4 hours per use and it will come with a carrying/charging case that will let users charge the headphones another 2 times. As expected of Bang & Olufsen, the Beoplay E8 does not come cheap at $299, but if you’re interested they will be available for purchase starting on the 12th of October.
