Retro iPhone Concept

Imagine what the iPhone would have been like when it was released back in the 1980s – dubbed the Touch Screen Rotary, this home phone might look as though it hails from a much older era, although it packs in a fair bit of modern functionality. The rotary dial has been replaced with touch controls alongside a backlit display that shows you who’s calling in thanks to built-in caller ID. On the outside, designer Mark Miller decided to throw in a highly polished ABS lined with a frosted polycarbonate base which will give away a soft glow each time a call comes in, regardless of whether it is via VoIP or landline.
