C-200 Popcorn Hour Media Hub
Syabas Technology has just announced their latest release, the C-200 Popcorn Hour network media hub. The C-200 is different from Syabas’ current lineup as it comes with a front-panel mounted 3.5″ drive bay which can hold a Blu-ray drive to further expand your in-house entertainment options. Another feature thrown into the mix would be the Gigabit Ethernet connection. Syabas made sure that the C-200 will be the fastest Popcorn Hour device to date, featuring a 667MHz SMP8643 Sigma processor alongside 512MB RAM and 256MB of internal memory. Connectivity options include HDMI v1.3a with HDCP, component, S-video, composite, stereo audio and optical and digital audio outputs. There is no word on pricing, but we could be looking at $300 thereabouts.
