The Sager NP9280 is touted to be the first Core i7 notebook to ship in the world, featuring the following underneath the rather massive hood :-

- 17.1″ 1,920 x 1,200 display
- 12-cell Lithium-Ion battery
This is a real desktop replacement unit since you can load it up with three SATA hard drives (or SSDs if your budget allows for it), 4x built-in speakers, eSATA, HDMI and DVI video outputs, a built-in 3 megapixel webcam and a quartet of USB 2.0 jacks in addition to a solitary Firewire port.
