Intelligent Coffee Mug
Forget about those USB cup warmers – the Intelligent Coffee Mug which is touted to be the first in the world supposedly keeps your coffee at the right temperature for up to 30 minutes without having to plug it into a USB port or place it on a mini hotplate of sorts. How is this possible? Apart from using a little bit of pixie dust and magic, it relies on a wax-like substance that laces between the walls of a porcelain mug. This substance is able to absorb and store the warmth emitted by the initially-hot coffee, helping keep the temperature at a constant for a much longer period of time.
