Integra DTR-30.2 and DTR-20.2 3D-ready receivers

Stereoscopic 3D is garnering steam, and Integra aims to prepare itself for the impending revolution with a couple of new devices to usher in the 3D era into your living room – we’re talking about two new 3D-video-ready THX Select 2 Plus certified home theater receivers. These comprise of the Integra DTR-30.2 and DTR-20.2, where they will rely on HDMI 1.4a A/V that enables 3D signals to pass from the player to a 3D video display, all the while extracting uncompressed full-definition soundtracks using Dolby True-HD or DTS-HS Master Audio simultaneously. Each model is compatible with 3D broadcast formats, and have five rear HDMI inputs and one output, although the DTR-30.2 sports a front panel HDMI input for added convenience which makes it cost $200 more than the $600 DTR-20.2. We’re thinking it will be some time before the general market will engage the full 3D experience at home.
