Mad Catz Announces New Range Of Cyborg amBX Compatible Products For PC

Mad Catz has announced its latest Cyborg Gaming Keyboard with amBX technology and Cyborg Gaming Lights with amBX technology, both of which are designed for PCs and are the first two amBX compatible products launched under the Company’s Cyborg brand. The amBX technology promises to offer full ‘sensory surround’ entertainment, allowing gamers to enjoy a more immersive experience by incorporating dynamic real world effects such as light and color.

The Cyborg Gaming Lights with amBX technology utilize twin light pods that can be positioned wherever it best suits the environment, and plugged into any USB port. The lights will react to in game amBX commands, and envelop the user in up to 16 million colors to provide the necessary atmosphere and gaming environment. It’s also designed to support multiple lights that are plugged in simultaneously, allowing the user to get a more immersive experience.

The Cyborg Gaming Keyboard with amBX technology is aimed at the serious gamer and offers a fully interactive, dynamic experience, and is capable of offering real time lighting effects through the amBX technology. The laser-etched keys sport full RGB back lighting that are capable of displaying up to 16 million colors that will react to on screen gameplay. Anti-Ghosting of the WASD keys ensures that simultaneous keys can be registered when needed. The Cyborg Smart Technology software included allows gamers to assign macros to the function keys on the keyboard. Volume controls and a Windows Key lock button are also included.

The Cyborg Gaming Lights with amBX technology are expected to ship worldwide later this year, while the Cyborg Gaming Keyboard with amBX technology will be shipping in early 2011.
