Gigabyte Q1105M slips out quietly

Gigabyte did not make much fanfare of their Q1105M notebook release, and for good reason, too. If you take a peek at its specifications, it seems as though it just stepped out from a time machine, carrying last generation specifications such as an Intel Pentium ULV processor and Intel GMA 4500 graphics. The 3-cell 2,200mAh battery is also a disappointment, since that wouldn’t last more than a couple of hours in this day and age. Other things are pretty much in line with what you’d get on notebooks from a similar class range, such as an 11.6-inch display at 1366 x 768 resolution, 2GB DDR3 RAM, a choice of 250GB or 320GB hard drives, Ethernet, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.1 connectivity, a VGA webcam and Windows 7 Home Premium as the operating system of choice. It’d better be easy on the pockets!
