Verizon Wireless goes for $70, 450-minute, unlimited plan tests

Verizon Wireless has taken a page out of Sprint’s book by testing its $70, 450-minute unlimited plans after customers in select markets started to receive an email offer from Verizon, touting a $69.99 monthly plan which does seem to be a clone of Sprint’s $69.99 Everything Data plan. You will get 450 monthly minutes under this plan, accompanied by unlimited messaging, unlimited data, and unlimited Verizon mobile-to-mobile minutes. Getting a family share plan (for 2 lines) will cost you $139.99 monthly, where you will then benefit from 1,400 anytime minutes, unlimited messaging, unlimited data, and unlimited Verizon mobile-to-mobile minutes; with the option to top up even more lines for $19.99 a pop. Either way, you will need a 1-year contract renewal to get started. What Sprint does better is their Everything Data plans all come with unlimited, carrier agnostic, mobile-to-mobile calling minutes.
