Malata A1101 benchmarked, blows competition away

The Malata A1101 is one of the newer tablets out there that ships with NVIDIA’s Tegra 2 chipset, so why not take it out for a spin and see how it performs against the competition? That is what the team at Netbooknews.com did, benchmarking the Malata A1101 using the Quadrant benchmark, achieving superlative results in the process from a 10-inch device that is powered by Android 2.2 while running on a 1GHz Tegra 2 processor. In fact, it pulled far ahead of other top-of-the-line Android smartphones such as the Evo 4G and Droid X as well as the popular Samsung Galaxy Tab. The Tegra 2-powered tablet market will soon get crowded with similar devices from Motorola, HTC and LG, so we do hope that Malata will priced their product according to market forces (while making a profit, too) if they want to do well in terms of sales since their hardware is already more than satisfactory.
