Casio Bluetooth Low Energy Watch

[CES 2011] Casio is showcasing a prototype of its Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) watch that shares a two-way data link with a smartphone. The low-power-consumption version of  BLE allows the watch to function with a regular button-cell battery and keep the size and the battery life of a regular wristwatch.  The Japanese manufacturer estimates the battery life at approximately two years based on the prototype model and a Bluetooth usage of 12 hours a day. BLE-enabled smartphones, which will be available to consumers soon, will be able to communicate with the watch. I would love to see my Facebook news feed or my calendar reminders on my watch! Casio plans to produce its first Bluetooth Low Energy Watch in 2011.Main features:
