Sierra Wireless MC7750 mini PCI-E card hits the FCC

The FCC have kept themselves occupied over the past week with the Sierra Wireless MC7750 mini PCI-E card, where this device is capable of delivering access to Verizon’s CDMA, EVDO and 4G LTE network – having jumped through the FCC’s hoops already. This means you will soon be able to take advantage of Verizon’s high speed networks on your netbooks and notebooks once the device hits the market, although that remains to be seen when and for how much. Nevertheless, let us delve into the hardware specifications of the Sierra Wireless MC7750 mini PCI-E card – it will feature a Qualcomm processor while delivering support for GSM 850, 900, 1800 and 1900, CDMA 800 and 1900, WCDMA 850, 900, 1900 and 2100, and LTE 700 frequencies. A worldwide card, so to speak, making it more than suitable for the seasoned traveler. Hopefully Verizon will release more details on when it will hit the market sooner rather than later.
