Sony Ericsson MT15i Vivaz 2 pictured and reviewed

If the current crop of Android-powered devices doesn’t suit your taste, you might want to check out the unannounced Sony Ericsson MT15i, dubbed the Vivaz 2, though the Xperia branding on the phone might suggest another name. The phone was acquired by Eldar Murtazin and he did a rather thorough review on the Android 2.3 device. From the looks of it, the phone features a 1GHz Qualcomm processor, an above average front-facing camera and some useful battery life courtesy of its 1,500mAh battery.

While the resolution on the display isn’t as high as the iPhone 4, it still manages to pack in 854 x 480 pixels. Sony’s Bravia engine might be a standout feature of this phone, and it does seem to offer some performance improvements, though the engine is only used when consuming multimedia content, which limits the impact of it on overall usage. The phone will apparently be targeted at the mid-range level, which hopefully means that it won’t burn a hole in your pocket if you decide to purchase it. With Mobile World Congress just around the corner, there’s a high chance that this phone will be unveiled then, so stay tuned! Other details of this phone include:
