AdvanceTC has new tablet phone device running on Windows 7

Tablets are meant to be tablets, and smartphones at that – but what happens when hardware manufacturers decide to do something crazy and churn out a 2-in-1 solution? That is what AdvanceTC has decided to do with their tablet device, throwing in the Windows 7 operating system as well as the ability to chat over it if the need arises. We see this as a niche market, and will most probably be useful during emergencies as you won’t be ditching your smartphone anytime soon. Hardware-wise, this tablet boasts of an Intel Atom 1.6GHz processor, 1GB RAM, a 32GB SSD, a 4.8″ touchscreen display at 800 x 480 resolution, quad-band GSM support, a 1.3-megapixel camera and a relatively large 3200mAh battery that ought to be enough to provide juice for a full day’s use. The small display might be a bit hard to use when it comes to typing long emails, but for a phone, it works out just fine (on paper, at least).
