Last.fm Radio app is now a premium feature on mobile and home entertainment devices

Last.fm has announced some changes to its app as the company is introducing a new subscription requirement for most mobile and home entertainment devices. The new deal is that users will have to pay to stream music through the company’s software on devices such as the iPhone and Squeezebox, though the good news is that you won’t have to be pestered by ads. Windows Phone 7 devices won’t be subject to any subscription fee for the rest of 2011 in the US and UK, while Sonos devices will continue to enjoy free streaming until the summer. In case you were wondering, the subscription fees are $3/GBP3/EUR3, depending on your location and shouldn’t put too much of a dent in your pocket.
