Toshiba outs new R Series of business-oriented laptops

Toshiba isn’t going to stop churning out laptops – no sir, as the Japanese consumer electronics giant has just dropped the ball on their new R Series collection of lightweight business laptops, where among them are the Tecra R850, Tecra R840 and the Satellite Pro R850. You will be able to choose from 14″ or 15.6″ display sizes, where they will sport Intel’s Sandy Bridge chipset inside that ought to offer more than enough processing muscle to handle anything thrown its way. Other hardware specifications include USB 3.0 connectivity, a 500GB hard drive with an impact sensor, 8GB RAM,  Wi-Fi N and Bluetooth 3.0 connectivity. Of course, since it targets the business crowd, it goes without saying that security is of the utmost importance, and Toshiba doesn’t skimp with their suite of EasyGuard security features to make sure sensitive documents and corporate data remain safe from prying eyes. A biometric fingerprint reader is also thrown in for good measure, making sure only permitted users are able to access the laptop, apart from password log-in and Toshiba’s Face Recognition software.
