WiFi-only Motorola Xoom Android tablet to arrive on March 27

Motorola Xoom WiFi

After being spotted in a leaked Staples’ advertisement, Motorola has officially announced the launch of the Motorola Xoom WiFi, confirming the spot on dates and pricing previously stated. The Honeycomb (Android 3.0) tablet that’s been available on the market for a couple of weeks now in its 3G flavor will be shipping as a WiFi-only version in 11 days. The tablet will be on sale at Amazon.com, Best Buy, Costco, RadioShack, Sam’s Club (select locations), Staples and Walmart for $599 (32GB). The press release states that the Adobe Flash Player will need to be downloaded from the Android Market while it supports Flash right away, it won’t be shipped with it. Now that it has been officially announced, and it won’t come with a contract of any sort, will you be interested in picking up the Motorola Xoom? Update: check our in-depth Xoom Review.
