First of all, the Android-powered tablet will known as the Dell Streak Pro, where it will closely resemble all the other 10″ Android tablets, featuring a 1280 x 800 pixel display, a dual core NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor, and an updated version of Dell’s “Stage” software known as Stage 1.5. Sporting a couple of cameras and an equal number of microphones, this will be a Wi-Fi only model, although you will be able to opt for a modular modem for mobile broadband access. Shipping later this June, there is no word on pricing for the Dell Streak Pro.
As for the Dell Latitude ST, this 10″ Windows-powered tablet will run off an 1.5GHz Intel Atom Z670 Oak Trail processor, sporting a 1366 x 768 pixel HD display, 2GB RAM, up to 128GB of storage space via SSD, front and rear cameras, GPS support, 1080p output (HDMI, one can presume), and “active pen support” – could that be an active digitizer? Primed for an October release, there isn’t any mention of a price.
Last but not least would be a new 13″ Latitude XT-3 convertible tablet that is ready to rock and roll this July. Exciting times are ahead, and your bank account has been warned.
