Fast lenses newer Micro Four Thirds products coming your way

According to Chinese website Tech.sina, an interview with ex-Olympus chief Mr. Watanabe has gleaned some rather interesting information for everyone who is interested in the world of digital photography, not to mention newer developments in the Micro Four Thirds universe. According to Mr. Watanabe, Olympus knows that consumers are currently waiting (patiently) for large aperture M4/3 lenses,  so Olympus is no lost to this anticipation as they have already started work in this area with such new bright lenses to be announced later this June.

Apart from that, there will also be newer Micro Four Thirds products that will arrive in the market, coming in both single and double digit series. As for the triple digit series, those will be officially replaced by the PEN range of cameras. There are also rumors going around that the Olympus E-30 has been discontinued, so it could very well be the first camera among many to be replaced by a new model.

Similar to what Pentax has done, Olympus will also offer additional color options down the road for future camera models. Strangely enough, that strategy seems to work quite well in Japan – could this be because of the Nintendo DS syndrome that saw the portable console released in different colors while doing gangbusters in the sales department?
