Archos Arnova 9 G2 tablet announced

Archos Arnova 9 G2Archos has unveiled yet another budget tablet to the world. Called the Arnova 9 G2, it packs a 9.7″ (1024 x 768) IPS 5-point multitouch capacitive display, a 1GHz single core processor, and runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread (hopefully Ice Cream Sandwich makes its way to the tablet). It also packs 8GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot, a USB port, micro USB port, a front facing camera, built in mic, stereo speakers, and WiFi.

No prices have been announced but Seeing how Archos’ other tablets sell for $250 or less, you can expect it not to break any banks. With the Kindle Fire around to compete in the budget tablet market, it’s going to be a hard sell for the Arnova 9 G2 in the US.
