Sprint to offer at least 10 Google Wallet devices by the end of 2012

Google WalletIn addition to the LTE network that will be launching on Sprint later this year, it looks like we’ll have a whole slew of Google Wallet devices to go along with it. According to reports online, Google’s VP of Wallet and Payments announced at MWC 2012 that Sprint will introduce at least 10 additional phones with Google Wallet support this year. However, Sprint won’t be alone in aiding the Google Wallet push – apparently Google is negotiating with other operators, manufacturers and potential financial partners to increase the presence of Google Wallet in the US as well.

At the moment 22 of the largest retail chains in the US support Google’s payment system, but it’s still far too early to tell if Google Wallet will become the standard for mobile payments. Competitor, Isis is said to begin trials later this year, and seems to have more support for it than Google right now. How many of you currently use Google Wallet, and what do you think of it so far?
