Tumblr for Android updated

Yes, we do know that Facebook has decided to snap up Instagram for a cool $1 billion thereabouts, and on the radio, I did hear an analysis of how the Instagram employees have gotten uber rich – with $100 million to share between themselves, after the remaining $900 million has been disbursed to different investors as well as paying the top brass in the company. Tumblr, a supercharged microblog that makes it a snap to share a variety of content such as quotes, images, links, audio, video, and simple text, has just been updated – for the Android app, at least.

Apart from making Tumblr for Android look a whole lot more decent and easy on the eyes, we also get a more responsive, faster-loading dashboard and blogs, an improved photo browsing experience, the ability to receive notifications for multiple blogs live in a single place, and Tumblr Radar. If you are interested, you can always check out Tumblr for Android at the Google Play Store.
