Lenovo IdeaTab A2107A arrives at the FCC

What you see above are images that hail from FCC’s archives, featuring the Lenovo IdeaTab A2107A, where it was captured by the good people over at Wireless Goodness. This 7″ tablet market does seem to be a popular one, what with the Google Nexus 7 which was manufactured by Asus being one of the more decent non-Apple tablets out there right now.

Well, the Lenovo IdeaTab A2107A does seem to shape up to be a serious competitor in the affordably priced 7-inch Android-powered tablet sector, sporting a 7″ display at 1024 x 600 resolution, a single-core 1GHz Mediatek MT6620P processor, 1GB RAM, a 2-megapixel camera at the back with a VGA camera in front, and a choice of either an 8GB or 16GB model. The battery holds a charge of 3,700mAh, and it will not be able to keep you connected to a 3G network once you are out of a wireless network range, since it will be a Wi-Fi only model.  No idea on pricing or availability, but stay tuned for more details, if any.
