This programmable t-shirt will display tweets and play music

We’ve come across t-shirts where lights can be displayed and pulsate according to the music around you, and also t-shirts which you can tap in order to simulate drum beats, but if you’ve always wanted a t-shirt that allowed you to program words or even display tweets, then this collaboration between interactive clothing company, Cutecircuit, and Scotch whiskey distillers Ballantine’s might be something worth checking out. According to its creators, the t-shirt, dubbed “tshirtOS” can be controlled wirelessly via an iPhone app. The t-shirt will also come with a built-in camera, speakers, microphone and an accelerometer in which users can share all sorts of things such as photos, music and tweets. If this sounds like a great idea and you wouldn’t mind getting your hands on the tshirtOS, unfortunately it is not for sale although you can register your interest at their Facebook page. No word if the t-shirt will ever be made a reality which means that this is pretty much a concept/prototype for now, but who wouldn’t mind getting their hands on one if it was on sale?
