Acer made some big announcements at Computex earlier today as we’ve seen some new ultrabooks , tablets and even a wireless storage hub, but one thing we haven’t seen yet is a phablet. Well – it looks like you can fill out your Computex bingo cards as Acer has just announced their first phablet today.

The Acer Liquid S1 is the company’s first foray into the phablet market as it sports a 5.7-inch HD (1280 x 720) display, a quad-core 1.5GHz MediaTek MT6589T CPU, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, an 8MP rear-facing camera, 2MP front-facing camera and microSD card support. The Liquid S1 will run on Android 4.2 with Acer’s Float UI.

Pricing for the Acer Liquid S1 will start at €349, or $454, and will first be made available in parts of Europe and the U.K. some time in Q3 2013. As of now, Acer has yet to announce if its Liquid S1 will make its way to the U.S. Hopefully since this is the first phablet the company is manufacturing, they’ll consider bring it over to the U.S. market since we sure do love our phablets over here.
