Nintendo Sheds Light On Legendary Pokemon In Pokemon X And Pokemon Y

pokemonxyheaderYes, we did bring you word that the Pokedex has seen another 5 more additions for Pokemon X and Pokemon Y, but here we are with even more news about this almost guaranteed blockbuster of a game – that details concerning a pair of legendary Pokemon which will follow tradition and be part of Pokemon X and Y’s box art, namely Xerneas and Yveltal.

Xerneas happens to be a Fairy-type, which is a totally new type that will be introduced first in Pokémon X and Pokémon Y. Xerneas’ exclusive move would be Geomancy, where it boasts of rainbow-colored light that erupts from the earth around it, while it also possesses the special Ability Fairy Aura, which will strengthen Fairy-type moves for all Pokémon in battle.

As for the Dark- and Flying-type Yveltal, it happens to be the only Pokémon that is capable of learning the Oblivion Wing move, where it will send Yveltal flying high into the sky, releasing a powerful beam of red light which will burn anything on the earth below it to a crisp. As for the Destruction Pokémon’s special Ability, Dark Aura, it will act as a counterpoint to Fairy Aura, where all the strength of Dark-type moves will be increased for all Pokémon in battle. Are you stoked yet for Pokemon X and Pokemon Y’s release this October?
