meizu-mx3The Meizu MX3 is an upcoming flagship smartphone model from the folks over at where else, but Meizu, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer. There were whispers of it arriving with a Full HD display which makes plenty of sense, since most flagship devices these days do feature a Full HD display to begin with. Not only that, some alleged images of the Meizu MX3 have also been spotted as recently as this month, and it seems that Meizu is on track to launch the Meizu MX3 at an event that is happening later this September 2nd, when all of the official details concerning this smartphone should be revealed then.

Right now, nothing official about the hardware specifications have been revealed, but from what we have heard so far, the Meizu MX3 will come with a 5.5” (some say 5.1”) Full HD display, a Samsung Exynos 5 Octa processor, 2GB RAM, a 13-megapixel camera at the back, and an 8mm thin case. It should also be powered by the Flyme 3.0 OS, which does seem to derive its roots from Google’s very own Android 4.2 Jelly Bean mobile operating system. As to whether it will continue in the rich tradition of being a China-only smartphone remains to be seen, who knows what the future bodes?
